Gracanica, December 12, 2024 – A constructive and engaging discussion marked the fourth meeting of the informal platform for Kosovo Serb civil society organizations and activists, was held on December 12, 2024. The meeting included reflections on the delegation’s recent visit to Berlin, where participation in a series of political dialogue meetings took place. The agenda focused on an analysis of the latest political and security developments and their implications for the Serbian community in Kosovo. Additionally, discussions were held on how the platform could address these challenges, and plans were outlined for upcoming activities aimed at initiating Kosovo Albanian and Serbian dialogue through New Social Contract Forums.
The platform was established as part of the project “Moving from Integration towards a New Social Contract for a Truly Multiethnic Kosovo,” supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo and implemented by the Center for Affirmative Social Actions – CASA and Space/s for Societal Change – Space/s. Its mission is to empower and amplify the voices of underrepresented groups within the Serb community, both north and south of the Ibar River. The initiative places a strong emphasis on promoting gender equality and addressing the diverse needs of the Kosovo Serb community.
